This is a slower paced vinyasa flow class, focused on; mindfulness and stretching, standing postures, introductions to arm balances and preparation for inversions. Working on the essential principles of proper alignment for a safe and smart yoga practice. Modifications and supported poses offered. (Level 1/2)
This is an introduction to the Primary Series. It is a soft approach that gently eases the student into the familiarity and sequence of the Primary Set Sequence.
The repetition of the set sequence helps to encourage the students progression in their practice, especially working in areas of flexibility of; hamstrings, hip openers and the strength work of the repeated vinyasa.
Classes will not cover the entire sequence and, elements will be broken down with modifications, so that the student can begin to develop a self / home / MYSORE style of practice. ALL LEVELS
Meet the Midday Gentle Stretch and Meditation session on Tuesdays.
In these sessions, we take out the time to find a gentle stretch of the body in order to come to a comfortable seat, time out to breath and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Why not slow time down even just for the hour?
This is an ideal introduction to meditation. No experience needed. Just allow yourselves to become observers of the body mind constitution, and see what unfolds with the guidance of methods old and new, to find a path to mindfulness and happiness.

Seniorita's Yoga is a workshop style of class which is aimed at ladies over 50 and will offer a gentle flow of yoga & body conditioning.

This will be a very open and relaxed style of session in which we will support the journey of self discovery and development for the individual and as a shared group.

The workshop will run Term-Time for blocks of 6/7 weeks and class content and structure will vary for the focus and intention for the day.

We understand that feeling of starting something new, walking into the first yoga class as if you were walking into a crowded room naked.
Then, you hear a new language of words ending in "asana" and "I need to use my U-know-jayi-what breath?", it can all feel rather disconcerting.
Why not begin your practice, this new year, and discover yoga in a welcoming and fun space, where we explain; terminology and techniques. We break the practice and fear of the unknown down, so that beginners and anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals of yoga will enjoy and benefit from the course.
The practice builds, week-by-week, introducing you to the basics of yoga; postures (asanas), sequencing, healthy alignment and breath techniques (pranayama). Instruction in meditation and relaxation techniques will also be given.
ALL MATS, PROPS ARE PROVIDED AND THE 6 WEEK COURSE WILL GIVE A GROUNDING OF BASIC POSTURES, INTRODUCTION TO TYPES AND STYLES OF YOGA, BREATHING TECHNIQUES & RELAXATION
